How we look after your information
What we collect when you use this website, why, who helps us handle it, and your rights under Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

Who we are
Abeko Limited (“Abeko”, “we”) is a company based at Fedha Plaza, Mpaka Road, 1st Floor, Nairobi, Kenya. We decide how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us about privacy at hello@abekolimited.com or on +254 111 562 567.
What we collect
- Contact and quote forms: your name, email address, company (optional), the topic you choose and your message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, the role you apply for, your cover letter and, if you add one, a link to your CV or profile.
- Technical data: basic, aggregated visit statistics (such as pages viewed and the type of device), collected without advertising cookies.
We do not ask for sensitive data such as health, religion or ID numbers through this website. Please do not include them in messages.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to discuss working together.
- To consider your job application and contact you about suitable openings.
- To keep the website secure and working well.
We use your data because you asked us to (by sending a message or an application), to take steps towards a contract with you, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing this website. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers, who handle data only on our instructions:
- Formspree delivers form messages and applications to our inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it from attacks and provides cookie-free visit statistics.
- WhatsApp handles any conversation you start by tapping a WhatsApp link, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Some of these providers process data outside Kenya. Where they do, we rely on their safeguards for international transfers, as the Data Protection Act requires.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we start working together.
- Job applications: up to twelve months, so we can consider you for other openings, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you can ask to be told what data we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@abekolimited.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes, and change the date at the top.
